Data on rural banking are primarily available from the Reserve Bank of India. There are three major sources of data:
- Basic Statistical Returns of Scheduled Commercial Banks in India
- Statistical Tables Relating to Banks in India
- Trend and Progress of Banking in India
Rural branches of scheduled commercial banks
Data related to credit provided to agriculture and priority sectors
