These scripts read unit-level data from different rounds of NSS Surveys of Employment and Unemployment. Scrips for each round generate csv files for all the levels, create a mysql database, and load the data into it. The scripts can also be used to produce csv files.
Both MySQL database and csv files allow users to import these data directly into statistical and database software of their choice.
Please note that the scripts provided here do not contain the survey data. These have to be independently procured by users from the National Sample Survey Organisation. indianstatistics.org or authors of these scripts are not authorised to provide the survey data.
